Information hypothesis of conditioned reinforcement : ウィキペディア英語版 | Information hypothesis of conditioned reinforcement
Information hypothesis of conditioned reinforcement (Berlyne, 1960; Bloomfield, 1972, Rachlin, 1976) states that the conditioned reinforcing strength of a stimulus is a function of its informativeness about the availability of primary reinforcement. In other words, the more uncertainty about the reinforcement the stimulus reduces, the more effective a conditioned reinforcer it will be. Hence this hypothesis has also been called the uncertainty-reduction hypothesis ==References==
